Major Update From FramingPaterno.com

Dear "FramingPaterno" Mailing List Members:

There are two very important items about which I want to share information and ask for your help/input.

The first is that Franco Harris will be hosting another "Upon Further Review" conference on the second anniversary of the firing of Joe Paterno. It will take place at the Days Inn in State College on the evening of November 9th (doors will open at 7:30 pm) and it free to the public.

I will be traveling from California to attend this event and I urge you to do the same and to urge others to do the same. My presentation will be brand new and not something that you have ever seen before.

Also, many of you may already be aware that the Penn State Berks campus has inexplicably invited Buzz Bissinger to speak as part of a lecture series in November and apparently he will be discussing the scandal. Some of you may recall that Bissinger is one of the very worst and most misinformed commentators on the scandal and that he and I have an interesting history. You can read more about that here:

I have already written to PSU Berks to complain about this booking and to ask for equal time. I got a condescending form response in which they explained to me the concept of Free Speech. I then asked when they were going to give "Free Speech" to someone who isn't lying about the case. I got no further response.
